In accordance to the New Mexico Secretary of State’s Prospect Portal, the Alamogordo mayoral race is a a few-cornered contest amongst Alamogordo Mayor Pro Tem Nadia Sikes, Alamogordo District 3 Town Commissioner Susan Payne and Alamogordo Resident Melissa Gayle Laperuta.
Working unopposed for Sikes’ District 2 seat is Stephen Burnett and District 4 Alamogordo Town Commissioner Josh Rardin is also operating unopposed.
Working for Alamogordo municipal judge are David Overstreet and Charles Turpin.
Alamogordo Public Colleges Board of Schooling has two board openings up for election in November.
The candidates for school board District 2 are incumbent Angela Cadwallader and challenger Pandora van Auken. The District 5 seat is a contest involving Amber Ross and Sarah Weihausen.
The Cloudcroft Village Board of Trustees has two at-big positions up for election this November.
There are a few individuals operating for the two open up positions. These are incumbent James Maynard and challengers Gail McCoy and Vickie Lynne Wiley.

There is also a single municipal decide placement open, a contest between incumbent Gerald Wiley and challenger Harmon Hosch.
Cloudcroft Municipal Faculties has board place 5 incumbent Lance Wright managing unopposed.
Tularosa Board of Trustees has three at-significant positions open up.
There are seven people today functioning for all those seats. Those in the running are incumbent Robert Sainz, incumbent Patrick Garcia and challengers Christopher Rupp, Larry Berry, Stephanie DuBois, Deborah Lynn Cooksey and Billie Ana Hobson.
Tularosa Municipal Educational institutions Board of Education has three openings.
University board incumbent Fernando “Freddy” Leal and challenger Naomi Sainz are operating towards each and every other for posture 2. Position 3 on the school board has incumbent Erica Walters and challenger Megan Cairns working against every other. Position 5 on the school board is a three-cornered contest between Anthony Stogden, David Bartram and Lindsay Ray Walker.
Election Working day is Nov. 2.
